☆♡ We've updated the total of Ty's GoFundMe after significantly paying it down (HALF!! YAY!), in hopes of finding better chances of gathering support and the rest of the funds to get his CareCredit Vet Expense paid off before our interest
free promotion period expires and we owe more. We still have many Kritters in our care that need feed, hay, cleaning up after (soaps, wipes, bleach, papertowels etc.), vitamins, litters, food containers etc., etc., etc. Plus Ty himself requires prescription foods and multiple supplements at least twice a day, which has proven to be financially difficult. Our baby Prince Ty is fighting for his life right now at the Emergency Vet.
Just days ago he was completely normal… following us around the house, waiting outside the bathroom door, cuddling, purring, and talking to us for attention like he always does. We truly thought he was getting better after medication for urinary discomfort.
Then overnight everything changed.
He crashed.
Ty developed a severe urinary blockage that began affecting his bladder and kidneys. Paralysis had begun. He had to be rushed to the ER vet and has now been hospitalized for days. He has been:
• Under anesthesia multiple times
• On IV fluids and kidney medications
• Catheterized and bladder flushed multiple times
•Appetite stimulants, fever medication, pain relief, antibiotics etc
• Closely monitored around the clock...
At one point we were preparing ourselves to lose him.
He is trying so hard to stay with us. He has started slowly eating again with appetite stimulants and his bloodwork is slightly improving, but he still cannot urinate on his own and is running a fever, so he still can't come home yet. Every extra day he stays is another bill we are struggling to carry and stress on his soul.
His care has already exceeded $5,000+ and continues to rise with everyday he has to be Hospitalized. (Eventually totaling over a crippling $7,500...)
We were approved for CareCredit just to begin treatment… but we honestly cannot do this alone.
The house is quiet without him, even his fur brothers and sisters are quiet without his extra love and playfulness.
Missing his little paws following us to the bathroom, every chance he could.
No extra purring while he kneads his biscuits on us at bedtime.
No cuddles from him while he stares into my eyes...
We just want our boy to come home.
