Help Support Rabia Issa's Family

If you haven't heard/read Rabia Issa's story, it is linked here.
Rabia Issa and her family have suffered immensely because of the Peace Corps' actions. As an RPCV it sickens me that an organization that I worked for and benefited from participating in was the cause of such destruction. Peace Corps' insurance gave the family about $8,700 of compensation for taking the mother and primary breadwinner from the family. This money was not dispensed quickly following her death, causing further difficulties like housing insecurity for her children. Additionally, it was simply not enough for the suffering that this family has had to endure.
I am hoping that we, as RPCVs and Americans who are appalled by the actions of our organization, government, and embassies, will do our best to ease the financial burden that this family has had to endure after such a tragic loss. While we may not be in a position to help the family get the much needed and deserved justice, and while no amount of money will bring the mother of three back, I am hopeful that we can raise funds to ensure that her children are able to stay together, have access to education, never go hungry, and have access to funds to pursue desired legal actions should they choose, among other day-to-day expenses.
I am in communication with Kizito Makoye, the journalist based in Dar es Salaam who worked on the above-linked article. Kizito is working to help ensure the Issa family has a secure account that the funds can be deposited into. Any money raised will be put into that account.
Thanks in advance,
