Help Support Raquel's Recovery Journey

Dear Community,

Our dear friend Raquel has faced some serious challenges recently. After bravely battling COVID-19, she's been hit with a range of lingering health issues. These include:

• ALS (a nerve disease that affects physical movement)

• Painful swelling known as edema

• Limited right arm functionality, potentially caused by a motor neuron disease or a pinched nerve

• Difficulties with her right leg stability due to a meniscus tear, which has led to frequent falls and reliance on a walker

These health complications have not only affected her physically but also financially. Raquel works for herself–while suffering from symptoms of ALS. As you can imagine, this makes basic movement very challenging.

The escalating medical expenses and her need for continuous care have placed Raquel under considerable financial pressure. She has resumed limited hours working remotely, yet she will need some assistance until her condition improves

We are requesting your help in supporting Raquel during her recovery from this challenging health journey.

Our goal is twofold:

1. To help cover the mounting medical expenses that Raquel is facing

2. To secure the services of a home care assistant who can provide her with the necessary day-to-day support.
