Help Support Red Hook's Community Cats

Hello! My name is Amanda. My friend Ewa and I volunteer our time to care for over 30 community cats in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Unfortunately, due to construction, and business owners that despise cats, we have to find new homes for a bunch of our cats. We have been able to bring 5 of them inside so far: Sammy, Tonka, Rosia, Octopuss and Bat Woman, but after taking them to the vet, we found out that Tonka and Octopuss have severe dental disease, which requires surgery.

We are hoping to raise at least $4K to cover dental surgery for Octopuss and Tonka ($1500 each) and additional funds to help with the $600 we already spent for sedated exams, vaccines and testing for FIV and FeLV.

We have been dedicated to their care since we discovered this colony in 2018 and made sure all of them were fixed, vaccinated and had access to fresh food, water and shelters. With your help, we can continue this quality of care for the rest of their lives.
