Help Support Sabrena in Her Fight Against Metastatic Breast

Donation protected

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,
We are reaching out today to ask for your support for a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend, Sabrena, who has been bravely battling metastatic breast cancer since 2019. Her fight has been long and incredibly challenging, and she needs our help now more than ever.
Sabrena’s Journey with Cancer
She was diagnosed with breast cancer on February 28, 2018. Early on, she was told that if you had to have cancer, this was the type to have—hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative. It was expected to be non-aggressive, and she had a high chance of recovery. After a mastectomy in April 2018, however, a lump appeared next to her surgical scar. Despite repeatedly asking her doctors about it, they dismissed it as an internal stitch or part of the tissue expander.
In February 2019, after months of concern, Sabrena demanded they remove it leading to a heartbreaking diagnosis: the cancer had returned. It had spread to her bones, and later to her brain and liver. Since then, she has endured countless treatments, including multiple pills and injections, radiation, and surgeries, trying everything she can to fight back. She has remained strong, but the battle continues.
Over the past seven years, Sabrena has had to adjust to the pain and challenges caused by the spread of her cancer, including nerve damage in her hip and foot, and struggles with speech and balance. Despite everything, She remains determined to continue fighting for her life.
The Latest Setback and the Hope of Clinical Trials
In January 2025, Sabrena’s scans showed that her cancer had progressed once again, with increased activity in her spine and liver. Her oncologists have recommended her last approved treatment option, but Sabrena isn’t ready to give up just yet. She has been accepted into a clinical trial at Stanford that could provide a new avenue of hope in her fight.
However, this clinical trial comes with significant costs, including frequent trips to Stanford every two weeks for the next two months, followed by monthly visits. Between the medical bills, travel expenses, and the missing work, her financial burden has become overwhelming. That’s where we hope you can help.
How You Can Make a Difference
We are asking for your generosity to help cover the costs of Sabrena’s travel and living expenses during this critical time. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and give her one less thing to worry about as she focuses on her health and healing.
Sabrena has touched so many lives with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love. She is a devoted daughter, sister, wife, aunt, great-aunt, and friend, and we want to do everything we can to ensure she has the chance to continue fighting and making memories with all of us.
Please join us in supporting Sabrena.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can offer—whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others. Let’s rally together to give Sabrena the chance to keep fighting and the peace of mind to do so.
