Update 12/29:
Sean died December 27th, 2022 at the age of 42 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital following complications from an aggressive brain tumor.
Today, December 29th, 2022 Sean gave the gift of life to others in the Northland through multiple organ donation.
Though Sean is not with us in body, the impressions he left on our hearts and spirits will never dim.
We are grateful to have lived in a world radiant with Sean's smile, his quick wit, his laughter, music, and love.
Update 12/27:
Sean's condition is grave. We were overwhelmed by the magnitude of outpouring we received yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came to visit Sean, it was his wish to be surrounded by family and friends in a time like this, and Abbott Northwestern was incredible at helping to facilitate rotating loved ones through.
There is no visitation today, as Sean is being evaluated for possible lifesaving duties as an organ donor.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, donated, and offered love during this impossible time. Our hearts are buoyed by your love and support.
Original Message:
I'm Sean's cousin, Beth and I'm reaching out on behalf of Sean's family. All money raised here will go directly to his wife, Sam to help cover any associated costs from this time.
Sean underwent unexpected, emergency brain surgery Thursday, Dec. 22nd.
As you can imagine this is a shock to the entire family.
We're in the waiting stages as we discover what the next steps will look like. Until then we know that major procedures like this can incur tremendous costs to families, even when health insurance is present. Life has been interrupted and is currently being lived from inside the walls of a hospital. Future costs are unknown and daunting.
We do know that Sean would want to continue to offer support to Tabby and Madeline, supporting upcoming events like birthday parties and summer camps. Sam has made it clear that it's a priority to her as well.
If you're able to give to ease the burden of this emergency, every little bit is appreciated.
