Help Support Sean Walker's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Sean and Erica have always been the couple who will drop everything for anyone, to give someone the shirt off their back. The couple joined hands in marriage last October and together they have seen some of the rockiest roads already. Erica and Sean have been volunteering at Casvville Volunteer Fire Department for the past 4 years. Sean has also been a Volunteer Firefighter with Silverton Volunteer Fire Department for the past 9 years.
On Saturday, August 5th, 2023 Sean was involved in a serious accident when a Tractor tire exploded, causing major facial injuries. Sean was taken to Centra State Hospital where plastic surgeons had to stitch his top and bottom lip back together as both were ripped to the bones. He was then transferred to the Trauma ICU at Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment and observation. With tests and scans, they found that Sean suffered from two broken eyes sockets, cheeks, nose, jaw, and 5 teeth knocked out and a chipped bone in his jaw.
His recovery will entail multiple surgeries, doctor's visits, a bone graph to fix his jaw, and dental surgeries including implants to replace the teeth he lost.
The road to recovery is going to be very long and will cause both Sean and Erica to be out of work for at least the next 8 weeks. The money raised will help cover some of the medical bills and financial bills to come during the time when they both can not work.
Please help us support this power couple as they have supported all of us throughout the years. Thank you for any help you can provide.
