Kiwanis Village Society has been providing affordable housing to low-income seniors since 1952. Kiwanis Village Society is a Registered Charity that provides this housing completely independently of any government funding. We have an 8.5 acre site located in Victoria in between Hillside and Mayfair mall, where we provide safe secure and affordable housing to approximately 140 seniors, in a mix of cottages, row housing and an apartment building. In 2020 we tore down 9 cottages and started work on our brand new 78-unit building! We were successful in managing to rehome all of our tenants within our village, so no-one suffered a loss of housing. We are so proud to announce that our new building opened to residents on December 1, 2023.
