Help support Tara and boys as they deal with Guapo’s death

”To love someone in addiction is to love two people in one body; the one that was, and the one that struggles to break free.”

Death is enduring, addiction is hell. I personally made it to paradise and sat on a pier at the beach with a gun to my head because of my addiction. The only way I can make sense of this is that the burden of his disease was so heavy that it ran its course. Now, at only 34, you’re free of that burden. Roman, my primo Guapo, left this world unexpectedly Thursday, December 19th. He leaves behind his love, Tara, and 2 beautiful boys. He wasn’t a perfect man but he was a family man through and through. This post is for them. For Christmas, for clothes, for sports gear, for food and gas if needed. For all of the material things that Roman has always provided for them but no longer can. This is my act of love for my cousin and my family. I hope others will find it in their hearts to show some love here too.

When one of the homies goes to jail, we all pitch in to bail them out or pay for their lawyer. This is the same fucking thing! We are from an extremely poor place. I have family members who don’t even go to the mall in a city of 500,000 people. This truly does take the village.
Screamin’ Northside ‘til I die!
