NCSO 300 Dog Seizure
Tax deductible
The Nye County Sheriff's Office has seized almost 300 dogs in a large-scale animal abuse/neglect case in Amargosa Valley. Most of these dogs are Caucasian Shepherd Dogs which are large and require separate accommodations. The dogs were kept in unacceptable conditions, many of them caged together. The Sheriff's Office has currently seized these animals and is providing care for the animals utilizing the assistance of our Animal Shelter.
Many organizations and members of the public have reached out asking for ways to provide donations to our agency to assist with this large undertaking.
Our Animal Shelter has a prior working relationship with Tails of Nye County, Inc., a local non-profit rescue, (registered 501c3), and has partnered with them to receive donations that will go specifically to kennels, food, supplies, and other needs of these dogs that were seized.
All money raised will go to Tails of Nye County, which will ensure that every dollar raised goes for the rescue efforts of the Nye County Animal Shelter.
We appreciate your willingness to help these animals. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
