Hi! I am a good friend of Brittney, Michael’s wife. Michael broke his back Monday night riding his dirtbike. He went in for surgery on Tuesday and it went great. They placed screws and a rod from T4-T7. He has a long recovery ahead of him, but he’s been working with PT and is tolerating things the best he can! I wanted to set something up to help ease the financial burden that this unexpected event has placed on their family. Brittney has taken time off work to support Michael in the hospital. He is working hard to get his pain under control, so he can finally come home. Michael is now facing an uncertain timeline for recovery, and will not be working during this time. After insurance kicks in, any donations will also help immensely to cover the remaining cost of the surgery, hospital stay, and time taken off work to recover.
