Help support the Beedham’s and their twin girls!

My name is Melissa, and I met Kristine at work over 15 years ago. Since then, Kristine has become one of my best friends and her and Corey are more like family to me. Together, Corey’s sister, Jamie Beedham-Rada and I set up this page.

For those of you that know Corey and Kristine, you know that they have been trying to have a baby for about 10 years. After the loss of their baby boy, Brayden, in 2015, Corey and Kristine were thrilled to learn they had finally become pregnant in the fall of 2021. This time with twin girls! They waited patiently, and prayed incredibly hard for a healthy pregnancy, and healthy baby girls. Kristine has been out of work since November 2021, due to the girls being a high risk pregnancy.

Hailey and Gabriella arrived 10 weeks early on May 5th, 2022. Hailey weighed 2lbs 6oz and Gabriella weighed 3lbs. While the girls were growing and getting stronger, on May 14th, Hailey became deathly ill, and was diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis. Since then, she has had two major surgeries. The first surgery was on June 3rd to remove some of her intestines, and create a stoma with an ileostomy bag. Just over six weeks later, on July 18th, Hailey had another surgery to remove some more of her intestines that were blocked, and to reconnect all of her remaining intestines. Little Hailey has also had several blood transfusions in between surgeries, and continues to need them at this time

As you would imagine, Kristine and Corey have been spending as much time as possible with their new girls and commuting back and forth from Batavia to Rochester daily. Also, at times they often commute separately for Corey to leave the hospital to go to work. They have stayed at the hospital or nearby it at times, but it isn’t always feasible with life’s other responsibilities. After almost three months, the girls are still in the NICU, with no discharge date given at this time.

Kristine and Corey would give the shirt off their backs, or their last penny for anyone in need. Now it’s time for us to help them. No amount is too small, every little bit helps. I ask that with this, you also keep this family and the girls in your daily prayers.
