Help support the Coe family through these tough times.

Hello,

I have started a GoFundMe in hopes of being able to assist my sister-in-law and her family through an extremely tough time.

My sister, Julia, is only 35 years old. For the past two years she has been fighting a losing battle with cancer. Currently it has spread to most of her body and she has just begun hospice care.

Julia is married to my brother Dan and they have 4 young children from 3 years to 12 years old.

In the past week, Dan has had to move his family from their home to be closer to my parents, myself, and his closest loved ones. Fortunately, I have been able to allow them to move into my home (adjacent to our parents) and I have temporarily moved out while they are going through these terrible times.

Not only have they had to leave their home, but my brother has had to leave his job for now so as he can continue to be with his wife as she needs around they clock care.

My brothers and I are extremely fortunate to have been raised by such wonderful parents that are also helping on the daily with my brothers family. But, with this help comes much sacrifice. My father is retired, but has just had knee replacement surgery and is bound to a recliner and walker himself for the next couple of months. Now, not only is my mother trying to care for him, but she has 6 more mouths to help feed and take care of. This has caused her to be unable to work as needed as well as the added emotional, physical, and financial stress on my parents.

This GoFundMe is simply an effort to potentially help to take some of the weight of these financial burdens off of my brother’s family and my parents as we all struggle to stay strong and get through the tough times.

Though monetary donations cannot take away the emotional distress this family is under, it can hopefully help to at least minimize some of the financial burdens of the costs of food and medicine.

Along with asking for financial assistance, we ask for your prayers as they will be so much more powerful than any dollar amount.
