My Brother in-law Christopher Dorman is such a wonderful man. He not only is my husband's brother, he is his best friend. He is the epitome of what a true family man is. His girls Madison ( turning 13 next month) and Caroline (9 years old), and beautiful, loving wife Alison are his world and he would do anything for them.
Christopher is only 36 years old, but right now he his fighting for his life and trying to return back to his beautiful family.
Christopher's life took a drastic turn last week. He was rushed into emergency open heart surgery for an aortic heart valve replacement with pneumonia, severe infections, extremely low blood pressure and his heart function at merely 5% when he reached the operating room. His surgeon said that in his 30 years of performing heart surgeries, his heart condition was one of the worst he had ever seen. By the grace of God he beat the odds and survived the surgery. However, he is still fighting for his life. His other organ systems had begun shutting down. He currently remains intubated, on kidney dialysis, with a lot of life support in the ICU. It is an emotional roller coaster for his family & friends as he fights each day. Every hour/day brings new progress or a new challenge in his recovery. He is faced with long road to what we pray is a full recovery.
Christopher is a fighter and one of the strongest men I know.
His daughter Caroline battled Cancer before her 1st birthday and is a survivor. She got her strength from her daddy. 9 years later this poor family is now fighting and praying that their dad is not taken too soon.
We ask that you pray for him and his family. They need a lot of support right now.
