It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Joey Omar Black also known as JoJo, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who was taken from us in a senseless and violent act. Joey leaves behind his loving mother and father, two younger brothers, and a baby sister whom he cherished deeply and cared for like his own.

Joey was the eldest of four siblings and was adored by everyone who knew him, especially his little sister, who saw him as her favorite brother. His dream was to work hard and one day buy a home for his family, providing them with the security and comfort they deserved.

Joey had a passion for basketball, baseball, music, and collecting shoes—he loved shoes so much that he would buy them just as collectibles, often not even wearing them. He was a true family man, always putting his loved ones first. His favorite color was blue, a reflection of his calm and caring nature.
