Help support the family of Tim Ward

Hi, my name is Tara and I am fundraising for the Ward family. Miranda has been one of my best friends since college and her family has been an inspiration over the last 7 years. When we were juniors in college, her father, Tim, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Against all odds, Tim fought his cancer for years, until recently passing away in May 2024. He leaves behind 3 children (Ryan, Miranda and Skylar) and a loving wife of 30 years, Tonya.

I ask you today to help contribute in any possible way. This family has already been through so much over the last few years and deserves any support we can offer. The money from this fundraiser will be going directly to the family to help with celebration of life costs, as well as to help the family stay on their feet through this time of transition. Unfortunately, having been sick for so long, Tim was forced to go on disability which drastically affected his income. During his 7 year battle, Tonya has been tasked with the majority of his care which has required multiple lengthy leaves from work, unpaid. Additionally, he leaves behind Skylar who is only 10 years old, to be supported by a single mother. My hope with this fundraiser is to help support the family in their time of grief.

If you know the Wards, you know that they treat everyone like family. Even as they struggled with Tim's health, their door was always open to anyone in need. They are strong, loving, and honest people who always support those around them. It is time, for all those who have been blessed to know them, to turn around and support them in their time of need.
