Dear friends of Dave and the Fleet family,
On this past Sunday night David was severely injured during a recreational hockey game in which his fibula in his right leg was broken in half between the knee and the ankle. His injury will likely require surgery and intensive rehab and because of the nature of his jobs as both a sound engineer and personal trainer, Dave will be unable to work for 8-12 weeks.
I wanted to set up this account as a way his friends and family can show their love and support for the Fleet family in their time of need. Unfortunately, disability through his job maxes out at less than a third of his normal income and as he is the sole provider for his wife Tomoko and kids Zoey and Ashton, they need our help to pay his mounting medical bills, keep a roof over their heads, to put food in the fridge and whatever unexpected costs that come their way.
