Help Support the Journey of AUSome Parents with me!

Hi, my name is Jasmine Thompson and I am the founder of Ausome Parent Connections (APC).

APC was created out of both frustration and love!

When my daughter was diagnosed with autism, we were met with a limited amount of resources to help us support our child's needs. Having a special needs child can create a large number of bills. Being an AUSome parent can also be an isolated experience. I wanted to create a safe space for parents to connect and share their experiences and advice with other Ausome parents. With all this in mind, APC was born.

My goal is to raise funds to get our 5013c status and start providing resources for families in need.

Gift cards to help with the financial load that comes with a special needs child, community events where our ausome parents and ausome children can connect, tuition for Day services, ect.

AUSome Parents Connection is a resource center for parents and caregivers of autistic (AUSome) people. APC is a resource center for parents and caregivers of autistic (Ausome) people. Our goal is to build bridges of understanding by supporting every step of this journey from discovery to diagnosis. We aim to provide a supportive community where you can find resources, guidance, and connect with others who are on a similar journey.

We are dedicated to empowering you with the knowledge and tools to provide the best support for your loved ones. Our vision is to create a world where every autistic individual is embraced with empathy, understanding, and opportunities for growth. We envision a community where differences are celebrated, and every parent and caregiver feels empowered and supported.
