Help Support the Kopp Family

Hello everyone,

My name is Katye, and I am a close family friend of Dawn, Elana, and Carina. For those of you who don't know, Elana and Carina babysat me over the summertime when I was a little girl. Dawn naturally became my "Summer Mom". These three have given so much to me over the years, and now, it's time to give back to them.

Dawn was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on January 27th, 2022. Pancreatic cancer is very aggressive, and time is of the essence. Dawn will be transferred to UPMC in Pittsburgh to undergo a Whipple procedure. Because of how fast things are moving, Dawn will have surgery by the end of the week. As she undergoes this surgery, Carina and Elana (Dawn's daughters) will be going out to Pittsburgh to be with their Mom. I want to raise money to help support their lodging, food, and travel over the upcoming months. The funds will also help benefit Dawn as she starts chemo and radiation in the forthcoming weeks and months. I know I set the bar high with the amount I want to raise; however, any donation would be a HUGE help.
