Support the Merz Family Education Savings Plans

Jeremy Merz—a beloved husband, father and friend—passed away on January 24th, 2023 after a nearly year-long battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disease affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Jeremy is survived by his wife Megan and their three daughters, Jordyn, Peyton and Taylor. 

This GoFundMe was initially established to help support Jeremy and Megan with the extraordinary expenses associated with Jeremy’s care, the cost of which was borne in great part out-of-pocket. But the support can’t stop now. Moving forward, all contributions to this account will be dedicated equally to three 529 Education Saving Plans for Jordyn, Peyton and Taylor.
