Update: Well, here we are months later and it’s the worse case scenario. This is absolutely devastating to our family. The cancer has spread to Eric’s liver and bones. Treatment will not do anything more to help. He is planning on spending this time with his family. Please continue to pray for them and donate if you are able. Original Message: Eric and Angie have been married for over 21 years and together since they were very young (high school sweethearts). They have 4 beautiful children that mean the world to them. Recently, Eric was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer at the age of 39. This cancer is rare for anyone under 55. Eric has been an electrician in the union for many years and worked long hours many times 7 days a week to provide for his family. He is currently receiving chemo and radiation and will need to have surgery to remove part of his esophagus in the next few months. This surgery means he will need to be on a feeding tube for over a month and his recovery will be a long one.  They are the strongest couple I know and so I have no doubt they can endure mentally and spiritually, but cancer takes a huge toll on your finances as well. Medical bills, gas to get to and from chemo/radiation. Angie has to take off work every morning for this and will need time off to take care of Eric. 
The whole family is continuing to pray for his recovery.
