Help support the Resendiz family for their loss

Dear family and friends,

It is with a very heavy heart that I reach out to you and community to support the Resendiz family during this grievance time.

On Wednesday December 27, 2023, my cousin was in a fatal car accident with her husband, son and nephew. Unfortunately, no one made it and we are planning multiple funerals. My cousin, Elizabeth Resendiz and her husband Oscar Gonzalez are leaving behind their eldest (15) and youngest (8).

This family needs our love and support right now.

If you know my cousin, Eli, you know she was the most warmest and welcoming person in the room. Always smiling, regardless of what could be happening. She was the rock to her family and the one who carried the burden. If you have met her sons or do you will see how much love she poured onto them.

Funds will be used for funerals, transporting the three to Mexico and anything extra will be used for the remaining children to help ensure that these kids have access to the resources they need, from education to emotional support, as they navigate life without their parents and brother.

Con gran pesar me dirijo a usted y a la comunidad para apoyar a la familia Resendiz durante este momento de aflicción.

El miércoles 27 de diciembre de 2023, mi prima sufrió un accidente automovilístico fatal con su esposo, su hijo y su sobrino. Desafortunadamente, nadie sobrevivió y estamos planeando varios funerales. Mi prima Elizabeth Resendiz y su esposo Oscar González dejan atrás a su hijo mayor (15) y su hijo menor (8).

Esta familia necesita nuestro amor y apoyo en este momento.

Si conoces a mi prima Eli, sabrás que era la persona más cariñosa de la sala. Siempre sonriendo, sin importar lo que pueda estar pasando. Ella era la roca para su familia. Si has conocido a sus hijos o los conoces, verás cuánto amor derramó sobre ellos.

Los fondos se utilizarán para los funerales, el transporte de los tres a México y todo lo adicional se utilizará para sus otros hijos para ayudar a garantizar que tengan acceso a los recursos que necesitan, desde educación hasta apoyo emocional, mientras navegan por la vida sin sus padres y hermano.
