Help Support the Singh Family

Dear friends and family of the beloved Singh family ~

Ian has been in hospice care at Porter Medical Center since 12/11/21. Early this morning, 12/16/21, he surrendered gracefully after fighting a long and heroic battle with colorectal cancer. Ian has been in good hands, thankfully relatively pain-free, and he has been surrounded by loving family and friends as his length of stay with us came to an end far too soon.

Many in the community have asked how they can help support Ian, Kathy/Kas, and the girls as they navigate these very sad circumstances. Ian's disease progressed very quickly in the past few weeks, and it has been difficult for the family to keep up with identifying (no less communicating) their ever-changing needs. A circle of local and church friends has been offering support in various ways, but many more folks have expressed a desire to help in whatever way they can. Ian has always been very practical, and Kathy/Kas has realized that what would be most meaningful to him is to know that the family has strong financial support as they navigate the transition to a new reality with Ian present in their lives only in spirit. As well as helping with medical bills and other expenses related to the family's changing circumstances, the funds will help support the girls with school-related expenses. They may even help make possible a family trip in Ian's honor at some point in the future.
