Hi friends and family! Sam and Steph welcomed their two precious boys, Micah and Grant, into the world on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024. Shortly after birth, baby Grant was discovered to have a severe heart defect that had him emergently transferred to Children's Hospital, where he underwent open-heart surgery less than 24 hours after birth. His 5-hour procedure was successful, and he has remained in stable condition. His care team has been very proud of his fighting skills! The coming days and weeks will be a roller coaster, so continuous prayers for Grant are appreciated.

His sweet brother Micah has remained in the NICU where he is working on growing big enough to go home and meet his big siblings, Emily and Joe.

The family has a long road ahead, traveling between NICUs these next few weeks, and then back and forth from the hospital where Grant will stay for a while.

Prayers and support are needed more than anything at this time. If you are able to donate financially, any amount will help this family tremendously as they navigate this challenging chapter.
