Help Support the Wilson's

My name is Margaret, a childhood friend of Cathy Wilson. My best friend and her family are now in dire need of your prayers and financial assistance.

As you may be aware, the Wilson Family has endured many life altering events within the past six months. In July, they were blessed with the surprise arrival of their granddaughter Maya. Then only weeks later, Cathy and Jeff’s daughter Megan was involved in a very serious car accident in Tennesee leaving her hospitalized for many months. While Megan was fighting for her life, the matriarch of the family Susan Wilson passed away. The family mourned their mother and grandmother while praying for the return of Cathy and Megan. Now, just before the Thanksgiving holiday we have learned that Cathy's husband Jeff was found on the floor of their garage having a seizure and is currently hospitalized. Jeff’s situation is most likely due to the stress of the past few months exacerbated by some existing medical conditions. Jeff’s recovery is day to day and we do not know how long he will be hospitalized and when he will be able to return to work.

Already unsure of how they would pay for Megan’s out of network medical bills and now with the addition of Jeff, the family needs the help of our community. We would like to ask you to provide the family with financial assistance so that they can continue to focus their energy on healing Jeff and Megan and reduce their financial burdens until the family is back on their feet.

If you are unaware of Megan's healing journey, she is currently rehabilitating at home and is preparing for another surgery this January. With the critical care, surgeries, and therapies that Megan has already received this past summer, her medical bills have reached into the millions. The fees they have incurred are astronomical even after insurance.

Cathy has not been able to work because she has been taking care of Megan throughout her rehabilitation full time. We are asking for your prayers for healing as well as any donation to help the family that is always ready to lend a helping hand to others.

I was lucky enough to live right across the street from Cathy as I grew up. Her family was always generous and willing to help others. Both Cathy and Jeff have been people always willing to help those in need. I hope that we can all return that favor to them as a community. Please pray, share this message and donate what you can.
