Help support the Yak-Zies Wrigleyville staff

Our city, state, and country has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to Governor Pritzker’s mandated closure of all restaurants and bars in the state of Illinois, we will be closing the doors of Yak-Zies Wrigleyville for the unforeseeable future. This decision has been tough on us all, but it will impact our beloved staff the most. Though we know it will be the safest and most responsible choice going forward. We’ve always considered our customers as part of the Yak-Zies family, it takes a family to get through these unprecedented times. While our thoughts and prayers are with everyone suffering with this virus, our immediate concern is for our employees and their families who’s livelihoods depend on the hospitality industry. The generations of Yak-Zies patrons have supported us to be in business for over 30 years at this location. Please remember the good times with your family and friends that you’ve had at Yak-Zies over the last 3 decades.  We are asking you, our Yak-Zies family, to think about that beer, drink, or the shot that our staff has bought you over the many years, look this fundraiser as the Yak-Zies Family Tip Jar.  We anticipate the Cubs home opener to be May 8th, 2020, which is 7 weeks away. Until then, let’s continue to work together and help keep our Yak-Zies family financially secure and supported through this most difficult of times. Please be kind to one another, and remember, we are all in this together!
