OUR MISSION

At DC Blue Devils, our mission is to develop our community through basketball with a high quality coaching staff. We believe that basketball is only a vehicle to get you where you want to go in life but that education is the gas you need to fuel that journey. This is where our passion for our student athletes derives. Educational pursuits are important to us as a program, and we stress to our athletes that you must succeed in both the classroom and on the court.

ABOUT US

DC Blue Devils (DCBD) is a Non-Profit 501(c)3, youth athletics program established to provide student athletes from elementary through high school, from the DC Metropolitan Area, with a competitive travel progam that competes year round. We provide an environment for our players to grow and excel while enjoying lifelong experiences. We foster hard training, team work, sportsmanship, and a winning attitude while enhancing our athletes skill sets and embodying the values of community and responsibility for one another. In our resurgence, we began with a middle school program during the winter 2023 season that established themselves quickly and cemented a solid foundation of success for our Grassroots program. During that season, we believed in instilling our fundamentals and we saw those teachings succeed as our athletes found continued success on the court. We stress that with success comes hard work and in order to reach higher levels, the proper training is necessary.

Coming into the Spring and Summer seasons of 2024, our program has been blessed with growth and we saw the rapid addition of five high school teams. As a result, amazing opportunities for our middle and high school teams have been presented! Our middle school programs will be competing on the ADIDAS JR. 3SSB circuit. Our High School Regional teams will be competing on the MADE HOOPS circuit and our High School National teams will be competing on the ADIDAS GOLD circuit.

As excited as the organization and kids are to get going, we understand that this opportunity will require us to travel to states such as Texas, Alabama, South Carolina and Pennsylvania. Unfortunately this travel comes with a substantial financial obligation. Our program’s success depends heavily on additional support and contributions and we are asking you to help aid in our efforts to make this widespread exposure possible for our athletes.

Your sponsorship is multi-faceted and will help:

• Provide our young athletes multiple opportunities to excel both on and off the court as they experience being team players and learn how to navigate relationships which embody the value of community and responsibility.

• Offer our talented youth an opportunity to participate in a sport they are passionate about and foster their talents through hard work and consistent training while increasing their self esteem.

• Support young athletes who are acknowledged for their talent and have a future in the sport of basketball at their respective next level.

• Assist in ensuring that our players are academically inclined, respectful pillars of the community through our talented and passionate coaching staff.

In addition, your tax deductible gift will aid in offsetting the costs of the following:

• Uniforms

• Travel expenses

• Player fees for team participation

• Team fees for event participation

• Player development through camps, clinics, and workouts with personal trainers and schools
