Tom was hospitalized on Monday, February 13th after experiencing shortness of breath after a kidney biopsy. Doctors found fluid in his body and the plan was for him to stay for a few days to drain the fluid. On Friday the 17th, Tom went into surgery to repair internal bleeding caused by the biopsy. The surgery was a success, but they have not been able to drain the fluid yet due to stress on the kidneys and Tom will remain hospitalized for at least another week. Many of you know that Tom has also been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and has suffered two heart attacks. Not knowing when Tom will be able to return to work and in preparation for upcoming medical bills, we've created this fundraiser to support Tom and Kari during this difficult time. Most importantly, we ask that you be in prayer for Tom and Kari as they navigate the road ahead.
