In remembrance of Tony, please help us continue to show Julie our love and support during this difficult time. 

I’m calling on family, friends, the Bay City community and the amazing Merrill community where they live to help two hero’s, in not just my life but many others. Even though they don’t realize it, I want them to recognize it now through our generosity.

My Uncle and Aunt are both truly phenomenal people and they truly need our help right now now if you are willing? They are people that never ask for anything, and now is our opportunity to help. Though this amount is steep, I believe it’s very possible.

In July 2020 Tony was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma cancer called Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST). The tumor is not able to be removed and has been treated with chemotherapy in pill form. The cancer and treatment has made him immobile and exhausted .... treatment has not worked. As his condition worsened Julie has been his full-time caregiver and has exhausted all of her sick time, vacation time and FMLA and has not been able to work since the end of December to care for her husband of 32 years (they have been together since she was 15 - he was 16). This cancer fight has all happened in the midst of this pandemic.

They need our help.

My goal for them is $75,000 and I believe we will reach it and go beyond. With medical bills, Julie not getting paid since December and Tony and Julie not giving up this fight by continuing to try to get him in a GIST cancer specialist facility in Detroit.
