Help support Tracy while she kicks cancers ass!

Dear Family and Friends,

I just created my first GoFundMe ever for my forever friend, Tracy, to help assist her with some significant medical bills that are not covered by her insurance. Tracy was first diagnosed and treated for Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma almost 20 years ago. ACC is a very rare cancer that first appeared in her left parotid gland. She had the gland surgically removed with follow up radiation and for 20 years this worked to keep her cancer in check.

Unfortunately, her cancer has returned. It is now considered stage 4 and is not curable, but, with proper medical treatment, it should be manageable due to the slow growth rate of this type of cancer. She is heading to the Mayo Clinic on Friday, April 11th to have a portion of her left lung removed, with a possible surgery on her right lung at a later date. Without a doubt, the Mayo Clinic is a magical place, and they perform medical miracles there daily, but it is also an out-of-network facility not covered by her insurance.

Tracy is one of the most kind and generous humans I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She's got a quintessential northern Minnesota get it done attitude, with a quiet and calm demeanor. She is always willing to help whenever others are in need but is reluctant to ask for help herself.

Sadly, this is a huge double whammy of medical and financial stress. If you would like to help support Tracy, so that she can shift her focus to healing and recovery, I set up this GoFundMe campaign to help her with the medical bills not covered by insurance and the lost wages she will face due to having to be off work while she recovers.
