Help Support Troy Daugherty

Hi, my name is Amanda Daugherty and I’m reaching out to ask for help for my dad, Troy Daugherty. For over 20 years, my dad has been living with a kidney disease. Recently his health has taken a turn for the worse. both of his kidneys are no longer able to properly filter toxins from his body due to both being infected. To manage the situation, he had to undergo a nephrostomy procedure, which requires ongoing care and medical attention.

Due to his disability, my dad is on a fixed income by not being able to work and the financial strain has become overwhelming for not just him but his family too as we try and help him as best we can. With multiple trips to Boston from New Hampshire for specialist appointments and the need to stay warm through the cold winter months, he is finding it difficult to make ends meet. Basic necessities like food, heating, and gas to get to the hospital have become a struggle.

As his children, we want to do everything we can to support him, but we, too, are facing financial hardships. We’re helping him out as best we can, but our resources are limited. This is why we are turning to you, our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, for help.

Any donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward covering the costs of food, heating, and gas for his medical appointments. Your generosity will make a huge difference in my dad’s life and relieve some of stress we are facing.
