Our beloved Shadina Smith was supreme soul to everyone who knew her. She was a daughter, mother, fiancé, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend that meant so much to so many people she came in contact with. Shadina Smith received her wings on January 16th 2021. An act of senseless gun violence decided to disrupt the lives of everyone forever. Especially her parents who lost their only daughter, her fiancé Joshua and their son Uriel.
The tragic event that took place impacted a whole community if not the world to us. However, who is even more greatly impacted in this tragedy is her one year old son Uriel. Having to go through the rest of his life without a mother, friend, provider, his everything is unimaginable. Please keep in mind a young boy growing up in this society without his mother. Being absolutely clueless at this present time of the tragedy is unexplainable.
As family, friends, and a strong community come together in this time of need and assist and provide for Uriel's present and future financial needs. This is includes daycare, diapers, clothing, toys, counseling, and everything else you can think of that will help him through his future endeavors and this traumatic time. Donations would be highly appreciated for Shadina's baby boy. No one deserves or expects to lose a parent at a young age. However, we are trying to make a smooth transition as easy as possible for her family to survive during this time.
