Help Support Vee's Transition Journey

Hi, I'm Victoria, I'm a trans woman and I'm fundraising for gender-affirming medical care.

I'm stuck at the beginning of my transition journey as transgender medical care in the UK continues to snowball into non-existence. The Cass report, anti-trans, anti-LGBT+, and divisive politics continue to do incredible damage to healthcare in this country.

I'm on the waiting list for my nearest Gender Identity Clinic to begin the process but the waiting times have shot through the roof since 2023. The backlog, according to their website, has only decereased by a month in over a year!

That means if things stay as they are (and do not simply get worse, which they might) then at this rate, I'm looking at a wait of over 10 years just to be seen, never mind actually start any treatments.

I have done enough damage to myself living as someone I wasn't before I realised I was transgender and simply can't wait that long to feel like the body I walk around in is actually my own. Subsequently, I am looking to go private with my transition, if only just to get started.
