Help Support Vonnie Carrasco's Breast Cancer Fund

Dear family, friends, and compassionate souls,

We write this with hopeful hearts in support of our little baby sister Vonnie, as she takes on a true battle with her recent breast cancer diagnosis. Vonnie’s biopsies were confirmed in August, and last week she was officially diagnosed with Stage 2A Breast Cancer. After considerable research done on her own, Vonnie was blessed with an amazing team of doctors in Gilbert. They are working remarkably fast to get her started by trying to eradicate the cancer from her body. She has been super strong and brave, and just got her port in so that she can start her chemo next week already.

If you know Vonnie, you know how independent, strong willed and courageous she is. It has just been her and Keegan creating a beautiful life for themselves, and she has done an amazing job for the two of them. Incredibly she is still working as a life skills coach for kids 5-17 (coincidentally trying to help them get through troubling times). Unfortunately with her treatment, she will not be able to continue this job that she loves in order to protect her immune system. We know that this will be a difficult journey, and we’re not sure how long it will be.

Thankfully she has a large family behind her that is supporting her in every way we possibly can. The emotional and physical toll of battling breast cancer is immense, and in addition to the emotional support we’re offering, we are humbly reaching out for financial assistance. If we could just provide a little bit of support and encouragement, I know that she can crush this disease and get back to helping people.

Funds raised will be primarily directed towards Vonnie’s medical bills, which have begun coming in as things are moving fast. Furthermore, we aim to ensure that Vonnie can focus her energy on recovery on and between treatments. Your generous contributions will also go towards covering the cost of necessary items that will ease her journey.

We would appreciate any help supporting our amazing mother, aunt, daughter, and little sister Vonnie, as she takes on the battle with her recent breast cancer diagnosis.
