Help survivors from Alaa's and Doaa's families escape RAFAH
Donation protected
Dear compassionate souls,
Imagine living in constant fear, with the sound of explosions tearing through the streets every day. This is the heartbreaking reality for families in Gaza and Rafah, and right now, one family urgently needs your help to escape the horrors of war.
My name is Emmanouil, a 61-year-old from London, and I'm reaching out to you with a plea from the depths of my heart. My wife, Amy, is shattered by the plight of her family in Rafah, trapped without safety, shelter, or even enough food to sustain them. That's why I'm launching this fundraising campaign – to raise the funds needed to evacuate the survivors of her family from the war-torn streets of Rafah.
Let me introduce you to Alaa's and Doaa's families – two families among countless others enduring unspeakable hardship.
Alaa, 35, M.Sc, a pharmacist, is a devoted mother of four beautiful children: Jana, Mohammed, Ali, and Anas.
Doaa, 34, M.BA, an accountant, is equally devoted to her three precious kids: Hala, Kareem, and Saad.
The past 190 days of relentless violence in Gaza have left scars that may never heal. Alaa's and Doaa's families have been through hell and back, displaced more than six times as their once happy homes were reduced to rubble. We've lost cherished family members – loving innocent dad and brother, uncle, nephew, father-in-law, sister-in-law, along with her husband and their three children, are all tragically missing, their fates unknown.

Now, Alaa and Doaa are left to fend for themselves, with their seven children in tow. Doaa, a bright accountant full of life and ambition, had just received acceptance to pursue her PhD degree in Turkey before the war tore their lives apart. Her children were excelling in their studies, but now their future hangs in the balance, and they desperately need to find safety in Egypt to continue their education and rebuild their shattered lives.
To secure the costs of displacement and relocation cost and permits necessary to evacuate my loved ones safely to Egypt, we need your help:
Each permit costs £3,990 ($5,000) for adults and £1990 ($2,500) for kids. The sum for 2 adults is £7,980 ($10,000), and for 7 kids is £13,930 ($17,500), for a total of £21,910 ($27,500).
I am endeavouring to raise a total of £28,000 ~($35,000). These funds will be allocated as follows:
- The huge portion as discussed above will be directed to "Hala Consulting and Tourism" to facilitate their permits and ensure their safe passage from the war-torn region of Gaza to Egypt.
- Funds will cover transportation, travel expenses, and relocation costs to Cairo, Egypt.
- Monthly rental expenses in Cairo for a duration of 3 months will also be accounted for.
- Additionally, provisions will be made for the cost of living and food for the same period.
- Educational expenses, including tuition fees for 7 children in Cairo, will be covered.
- A portion of the funds will be dedicated to participating in recreational activities and providing psychosocial support to help the children heal from the trauma inflicted by the war.
- Finally, taxes will also be accounted for in the allocation of funds.
Your contributions will make a significant difference in ensuring the safety, well-being, and future prospects of these children affected by conflict.
(The kids are happy to have snacks for the first time in 6 months)
The situation is dire, with the ongoing conflict putting Alaa's and Doaa's families in grave danger. They are not just statistics – they are mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters, whose lives hang in the balance.

I come to you with a humble request – please, consider contributing to this fund. Your donation, no matter the amount, will make a world of difference to my family and countless others like them. And if you can't donate, please consider sharing our fundraising link with others. Together, we can bring hope and safety to those who need it most.
With love and gratitude,
Emmanouil and Amy
