Help Susan with medical/transportation expenses

As you may or may not know, Susan’s world was turned upside down on the evening May 28th. She was admitted to the hospital with a medical event that led to the discovery of a Meningioma (brain tumor). She underwent a successful surgery on May 31st that removed the tumor. Fortunately, the tumor was benign. With relief of the results and success of surgery now comes the reality of the financial burden.

As a Speech Therapist, her devotion to her patients needs and safety force her to go above and beyond. And frankly being in health care allows you to know too much at times. So being on the flip side, being the patient, knowing the worse case scenario, and the cost can be very overwhelming. But as we all know, Susan is a force of nature and one of the funniest people on the planet. Her humor and her strength, along with our love and support will help her through this next phase. Susan is not one to ask for help, but she is extremely appreciative and grateful for the support she has gotten from family and friends.

Susan is hopeful to get back to work at full time. She is not allowed to drive for 6 months. Funds for transportation are needed. There have been lost wages, out of pocket costs from the hospital and surgery are $6,600. There are also follow up visits and cost for diagnostic testing.
