Help Susana and Walter in Their Fight

Hi, we are Monica (Lapenta) and Simone (Martini), and we are here to ask support for our friends Susana and Walter and their children Melina and Sebastian.

Walter and Susana met when they were 20 years old and have been together for 33 years. In 1999, they, along with their daughter, Melina, came to the United States from Argentina. In 2003, they welcomed their son, Sebastian.

For those that know Walter, they know that he’s always been a positive guy, radiating a smile that would make anyone feel better after speaking with him. He got to know much of the community within Baltimore by serving tables at Cafe Troia for many years, as well as other restaurants like Tark’s grill and Vito’s.

Wherever he went, he made friends along the way.

Unfortunately, in August 2022, soon after accompany to eternal rest Walter's father, Walter was diagnosed with Stage 4 renal carcinoma. For the last 21 months, Walter has admirably fought the battle many do. However, his cancer is continuing to progress and he has decided to spend the time he has left with his family.

Susana is the one working at the moment and she is devastated as she now knows for sure she will soon lose the love of her life.

We wish for Susana to spend more time with Walter without worrying about going to work to pay the bills and many expenses that this disease brings.
