Help Susie & Her Family Heal Amidst House Fire

On Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, a house fire completely demolished the side of the duplex where my older sister Susie and her family lived. That is why my younger sister Shannen and I decided to create this GoFundMe to support our older sister Susie and her three children (ages 2, 4, and 5 years old), who were deeply affected by the loss of their home and vehicles.

 

The cause of the fire is still unknown and being investigated. All three adults and four children that lived in the affected side of the duplex were unharmed, but one pet was lost in the fire. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire in the garage, which spread to the attic. In addition, all three vehicles were destructed by the fire. According to investigators, they estimate $300,000 in damage, not including personal items and possessions.

 

Although Susie does have renters insurance, Susie and her three children need immediate support in obtaining essentials for their daily necessities that were destroyed by the fire. The primary purpose of this GoFundMe is to help aid my sister and her family, especially during this desperate time of need.

 

The donations and proceeds from this GoFundMe will be used to purchase indispensable items such as clothing, shoes, toiletries, school supplies, food, beverage, and other personal belongings.
