Help Susie Snape rebuild her beautiful home.

Hello, today we're raising money for our Mum, Susie Snape, who has been badly affected by the Lismore floods losing almost everything.

Mum moved to Lismore with Dad (John Snape) in late 2021; they were still settling into their new home and life together. They had been in the house for one month when Dad suffered a massive heart attack and passed away.  Losing dad during COVID was so terrible, and with limited visitation rights it was just awful.  Losing the love of her life so suddenly at the start of a new journey together is heart breaking.

Mum is still obviously grieving, and has poured all her energy into her beautiful home.  That stopped suddenly last week when the flood tore her house apart. The waters rose well above the 100year flood the government anticipated and insurance won’t cover the losses.  Mum has lost pretty much everything, including furniture, art, beds, doonas, blankets, music, artefacts, photos, appliances, kitchen and the list goes on.

Those who know Mum know what a beautiful person she is and could appreciate the terrible circumstances she now finds herself in.  We reluctantly ask for your help to help Mum, if you can, to rebuild her life and home.  We want Mum to find happiness in her home and town, and also show Mum that there are people who care, love and want to support her.  If you can help that would be so appreciated.
