Mom to an 18-month-old daughter, Suyesha, Susmita is a cheerful 32-year-old from Nepal. It’s been over 3 months since she was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia This has flipped our world upside down yet her fighting spirit for her daughter shines brightly. Her only hope for recovery lies in a bone marrow transplant in India, with a massive cost of £40,000. With your help, she can recover and ensure her daughter has a healthy mom to grow up with.

Susmita’s Background: A Life Full of Challenges, Now Facing the Toughest One.

Overcame a difficult childhood: Susmita was raised by her single grandmother and at just 16 she went to the Middle East in the hope of a better life, she has been facing depression from a young age and upon arrival faced pandemic hardships which worsened her well-being.

Found joy in motherhood: Despite, all this she found her lost happiness being a mom to her precious daughter.

Leukemia struck: Just as life seemed hopeful, this life-threatening illness hit and shattered all her hope.

Current treatment and updates:

Susmita is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy, medication, and extended hospital stays at Kathmandu's Teaching Hospital. Due to limited resources in Nepal, doctors have advised a bone marrow transplant in India. While this treatment offers hope for recovery, the financial burden is overwhelming.
