I’ve held off asking for support for far too long, but I’m reaching out now because the challenges I’m facing have become impossible to overcome without help. I know that many others are in, or not far from, similar situations, which makes asking for help even harder.

In 2022, I was diagnosed with advanced stage endometriosis and adenomyosis, though I’ve been living with chronic pelvic pain for much longer. For two years, I was predominantly bedridden and developed several complications, including the most fatal, thoracic endometriosis. These conditions have made it difficult to transition my skills into formats that are physically accessible for me, as I am self-employed and receive no paid sick leave.

On top of managing my own health, I have dependents and responsibilities within my family, and I’m committed to caring for those who rely on me. This only adds to the pressure of staying financially afloat.

As a result, I’ve fallen behind on important expenses, including health & auto insurance, rent, taxes, and the cost of medications.

Additionally, I have finally found specialists that have time to see me. I will also need help to cover the treatments.

In order to keep pain crises at bay, I will have to go the extra mile and take every possible opportunity to balance my health with treatment that might seem like a luxury to most but are life-saving for me.

I am asking for $15,000 to help me get to a stable place in my health while meeting the demands of being a provider to my family.

$2000 will cover transportation for 3 months (taxis, auto insurance, car rentals & flights).

$6000 will cover medications, appointments & treatments including allopathic & homeopathic treatments such as testosterone, psychotherapy, lymphatic and pelvic massage, fitness, naturopath, infrared, and acupuncture treatments.

$5000 will cover rent and food for me and my family for 3 months.

$2000 will cover health insurance and back taxes.
