Help Suzanne Bonaduce Fight Cancer!

Donation protected
Hi everyone, Maddie here.
(I'm Suzanne's daughter in case you didn't know!)

I've set this up for her because so many people have asked how they can help and would like to donate to her expenses while she is out of work.

Here is a brief timeline of her cancer saga:

Oct. - Nov. 2022:
  • Concerning mammogram
  • 2nd mammogram
  • Breast MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Breast biopsy
  • Ductal Carcinoma In-Situ
  • Lumpectomy

Jan. 2023:
  • Pathology of first breast cancer catches another;
  • Invasive Lobular Cancer.
  • Lymph Node removal surgery. Nodes are clear.
  • Sign up for seven weeks of radiation
  • Tested positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation.

Feb. - March 2023:
  • Prepping for radiation: CT scans, etc.
  • Scans catch a shadow in the abdomen.
  • Need more tests.

March 2023:
  • Tests reveal more cancer...
  • Ovarian Cancer
  • Peritoneal Carcinomatosis (likely from ovarian cancer spreading all over the abdomen)
  • Radiation is put on hold.
  • Pottstown Hospital teams up with Penn to start extreme treatment ASAP.

April 2023:
  • MASSIVE SURGERY
  • Total hysterectomy
  • Splenectomy
  • Appendectomy
  • Colon Resection
  • Diaphragm opened up (literally. With a rib spreader.)
  • Part of the liver cauterized
  • ALL visible cancer removed from the soft tissue and abdominal wall.
  • Nine hours. 56 staples. Finally awake in the ICU around 1am.
  • Released from the hospital after a full week of recovery.

June-July 2023:
  • Begin chemo treatment
  • Every 3 weeks is chemo, port flushing, and an injection to stimulate white blood cell production within the bones.
  • Horrible pain and reactions to the combo of treatments
  • Back in the hospital for a week with a small bowel obstruction
  • Obstruction was broken up over a week with medication to avoid surgery.

Today is July 26th and Suzanne is back at home, but is not feeling well. Pain and other side effects seem to be increasing with each chemo treatment.

And of course - She has been out of work for quite a long time.
If you would like to help, please consider donating to this gofundme.
I am managing it for my mom to help pay her bills, buy groceries, care for her pets, and hopefully alleviate some stress in her life, so she can focus on getting well.

Thank you so so much for all your love and support. It means the world to our family.
We know you love Suzanne just as much as we do and are rooting for her!
