Help Suzanne Recover After Palisades Fire

Donation protected

On January 7, 2025, the devastating Palisades Fire swept through my beloved home and community in Pacific Palisades, California, leaving unimaginable destruction in its wake. While my house is still standing, it has been deemed uninhabitable, and I can never return. Nearly every home on my hill was destroyed, and the area remains under National Guard restriction due to safety concerns.

The fire happened so quickly that I only had time to grab my two precious cats, my computer, a suitcase, and a small bag. I am deeply grateful that we made it out safely, but the loss has been overwhelming. Most of my belongings are likely smoke-damaged beyond repair, and my renter's insurance was canceled for fire coverage before the disaster.

For almost 14 years, my home was my sanctuary—a place of inspiration, creativity, and peace. It was where I created much of my work as a filmmaker and yogini. Many of you who know me, have seen my film Yoga IS, or have been part of the Yoga IS community, know that my passion has always been helping others.
While I am pursuing all available resources, including FEMA assistance, this fundraiser will help address recovery needs not covered by other aid programs.

How You Can Help
Your support will help me address the costs of recovery and rebuilding my life in areas that extend beyond basic disaster relief.

Specifically, the funds raised will be used for:

Long-term housing stability: Securing a safe and permanent place for myself and my two cats.

Replacing essential items: Personal belongings, furniture, and tools necessary for daily life and work.

Rebuilding the foundation for my work: Recovering resources that allow me to continue serving others through my career and creative projects.

These needs go beyond the scope of FEMA assistance and are critical to creating stability and moving forward after this life-changing event.

Why Your Support Matters
The kindness and generosity I’ve received so far have been overwhelming and deeply appreciated. Thanks to your support, I’ve made progress, but there is still a long way to go.
Every contribution—no matter the size—helps me address the challenges ahead and regain a sense of normalcy. Sharing this campaign with your network is also an incredible way to help, as it spreads the word and expands this community of support.

A Message from My Heart
This fire has taken so much—my home, my belongings, and my community—but it cannot take my gratitude or my spirit.
I am overwhelmed by the love and kindness I’ve already received. Your support—whether through a donation, sharing this campaign, or sending words of encouragement—reminds me of the power of community and connection.

I appreciate your kindness and love in this challenging time.

With love and deep gratitude,

Suzanne Bryant

My mission is to inspire transformation and healing through mindfulness, connection, and a holistic approach to well-being.

I began my journey studying Journalism at NYU. My film, Yoga IS: A Transformational Journey, released with Magnolia Pictures, explores the profound power of yoga to transform lives. Today, as the founder of YogaIs.com, I’ve built an online platform with wellness experts in yoga, meditation, and personal development to help others cultivate calm, happiness, and resilience.

For nearly three decades, I’ve immersed myself in studying psychology, spiritual psychology, meditation, nutrition, neuroscience, and cognitive behavioral therapy, earning certifications in life coaching and brain nutrition. My mission has always been to guide others toward breakthroughs—helping them reclaim joy, reduce anxiety, and live their fullest lives.

Now, I find myself in a position where I need help. The devastating Palisades Fires have displaced me from my home, but they haven’t taken my spirit or my commitment to serving others. Your generosity will allow me to rebuild and continue my life’s work of helping others find healing and happiness.

Thank you for your kindness, support, and belief in the power of community. Together, we can create new possibilities, and I can continue the work that means so much to me and those I serve.
