Help Suzie, Mike & Holly Recover From Their Great Loss

Our hearts are heavy as we reach out to our community for support. This is Jennifer Dickens, my sister Suzie and her partner Mike have lost everything in the catastrophic wildfire that has engulfed parts of Altadena, California. Their beloved home of 23 years – filled with precious memories and everything they owned – was completely destroyed in the blaze that has affected thousands of homes in their neighborhood.

In the face of this devastating fire, they had mere moments to evacuate, managing to grab only a small bag of essentials. Currently, they're temporarily housed in a hotel while searching for more permanent living accommodations, but the road ahead is long and challenging.

Mike has called this house his home for over two decades, and Suzie has shared it with him for the past ten years. Beyond the physical structure, they've lost irreplaceable memories, family heirlooms, and the comfort of the place they called home.

The outpouring of love and concern from family, friends, and neighbors has been heartwarming, and we're grateful for every message asking how to help. This fundraiser is a way for our community to come together and support Suzie, Mike and Holly on this long road ahead.
