Help Suzy, Katelyn, & Denver’s Flood Recovery

Hi, my name is Crystal and I am raising funds to help my dear friends, that are really more like family, get into another home and replace all their belongings. Tuesday, Oct. 7th, 2021 in Pelham, AL there was flash flooding that ruined their home, furniture, clothes, appliances, and everything else touching the floor. Living in the home were Suzy (grandmother), Katelyn (daughter), and Denver (1-year-old granddaughter). Suzy had to be evacuated from the home. Now, they have been permanently displaced from their home (total loss) and have to find a new place to live.

Thankfully, everyone is safe and currently staying with other family until they can rebuild their lives, but they need help now to get back on their feet.

The cost of rent or housing of any kind around the Birmingham area is extremely high. The grandmother is on a fixed income, and the daughter has a small income but is primarily a full-time mom.

Losing everything, 20+ years of memories, and the uncertainty of their future is weighing on them. Today, they found out the insurance policy doesn't cover flood damage, so they have to replace everything out of their own pockets. They are basically having to start over. If any of you are able and willing to help, they would be eternally grateful!
