Hi my name as andi and as most of you know I have been through my own health battles that have lead me to ask for help , now as I type this I feel the my heart sink as now I have to do this for my best friend of 24 years
Kimra takes care of everyone in our community.
Now it’s time for us to take care of them!!
Kimra has been struggling with gynecological health since 2019.
At their most recent appointment in January, with a new doctor, the doctor said they were surprised that Kimra hadn’t already had their cervix removed based on the amount of abnormal pap results since 2019 and how long this had been going on. They had a colposcopy with this doctor then was referred to an OB gynecologist to do a LEEP procedure. Kimra had their LEEP procedure on Jan 29th and they are still recovering from that.
Kimra has had HPV for years and their body has not fought it off. Most people fight it off within 2 years but for Kimra it’s already been over 4 years. Kimra has CIN3 high grade squamous cell dysplasia, which is the last stage before the HPV turns into cancer.
With consulting the doctors, they have decided it’s best for Kimra to get a hysterectomy, as their chance of being diagnosed with cervical cancer is now at 65% within the next 6 months. Surgery is planned for mid-March.
If all goes well, Kimra will be able to keep their ovaries and not need hormone replacement.
Kimra does not get paid for the work they do with Idaho Abortion Rights or their work as an abortion doula. It's 100% volunteer and I’m sure many of you are aware that they spend countless hours every week ensuring that people get abortion access and support, at personal risk in doing so.
And you wouldn’t know that Kimra has been struggling from chronic nausea and fatigue for years due to their body trying to fight off the HPV as they are a tough cookie and push through it all to make sure they are able to serve as many people as they can.
Kimra does not currently have a job or a business so they have been covering their general living expenses by utilizing adūlt entertainment sites.
Due to the nature of their surgery it's difficult to make money on adūlt entertainment sites until they are fully healed... and Kimra won't be fully healed until the beginning of May.
We are making this GoFundMe to hold them over until they are done healing.
Coffee: Anyone who knows Kimra, knows they drink lots of coffee ☕️
We set the goal to $6000 as that should cover everything up until May of this year.
Kimra will continue to share their cervical cancer journey on social media to bring awareness and is open to answering any questions that anyone has about it. You know how Kimra is, always generous with information to help keep our community healthy and safe.
Thank you for your support!
