Help sweet little Becca Rae’s family

Hi, my name is Lauren and I am fundraising for my best friend and her sweet family.
Baby Becca’s Backstory: In the early stages of her pregnancy, Sarah had some troubles found on an ultrasound which had her in the hospital for an emergency surgery in the first trimester! During the ultrasound the doctors saw that Becca was in a position that they could not see her head. The attending doctor changed to an internal ultrasound, where by chance, they could see that Sarah’s cervix was trying to go into labor at just 18weeks! Becca would not have survived. We like to believe she saved her own life by being in that position on that day at that particular moment. The emergency surgery that day gave Becca more time to grow in utero!
For those that may be unaware, when Sarah was just 5 years old, she and her older twin brothers contracted the chicken pox. The children inadvertently spread the virus to their mother, Beccalin, who was 21 weeks pregnant at the time. She was then hospitalized and gave birth to a 1.11lb baby boy…Sarah’s mother, Beccalin, sadly passed away due to complications during child birth caused by the virus. The memories of her mother’s experience, and the distresses of her own pregnancy, led this to be very emotional and traumatic experience for the whole family.
Although Sarah recovered from the initial surgery, just two months later, in early April, she was hospitalized for over two weeks with unstoppable contractions. After nearly 2 weeks in SMH, she finally gave birth on April 12 to Becca, nearly two & a half months before her original due date on June 28! She was born 2.5 pounds and encaul, which is extremely rare. Sweet Becca Rae is nothing short of an absolute miracle!!
Becca has been in the NICU at SMH since her birth on April 12th. She is doing very well, weighing 6.15 pounds now, and very close to coming home. But as you can imagine they have quite the bill headed their way once they get home. I just want to try to raise any amount of money we can to help them. So if you can whether it’s $5, $50 or $500 please consider donating to help them to help alleviate some of the stress and worries of the financials! It takes a village they say!! Let’s help them out! Thank you so much!
