Help Sydette Survive

Hello all,

I have been hit with the confluence of what it means to be, well, me in the time of this administration. Between the cuts in funding to universities, studies, and everything, my freelance and writing jobs have gone boom.

We are waiting to see if Guyana goes to war,

and then Tariffapalooza , the decimation of civic tech and DEI and SS cuts jumped me like Bruce Wayne’s parents in an alley.

Grim reality is I am fundraising for rent while I wait for some things to come through.

I will take job leads; my Patreon is still active, but my safety net is gone.

I calculated this by figuring out my average number of followers and asking for two dollars. It will cover living, applications for higher ed( and possible miving) and AP

I NEED 6k ASAP to catch up, and I’m doing this to keep the number transparent.

This is to keep me unevicted for a calendar year.
