Help Sylwia Recovery To Health
Donation protected
I’d like to start off by saying thank you for viewing our page and thank you in advance if you find it in your heart to donate today.
With the encouragement of my friend I am starting this gofundme page for my dear friend Sylwia. I understand that most people are struggling these days. But if you feel that you can donate towards this cause we’d be forever grateful.
I met Sylwia when both of our boys were five and were starting Pre-K eight years ago today. We instantly became good friends and connected on a deeper level. My dear friend is by far one of the strongest and most beautiful people I know. She lights up every room she enters with her kind smile and remarkable personality. Whenever you feel like you need a friend or simply someone to talk with Sylwia is just a phone call away. She’s always the one to give you good advice and makes you feel special. She’s always there for everyone who needs her. It can be at home cooking for her husband, son even her beloved doggy or simply snapping pictures at the Polish school on a beautiful Saturday morning; she’s always there helping her family, friends and most of all her community. She never turned her back away but rather always put her hand forward and is always the first one to lend a helping hand. She’s truly one of a kind; a special friend, daughter, mother, and a wife.
Unfortunately last October of 2021, life had drastically changed for Sylwia and her family when she got diagnosed with COVID and soon after was rushed to The Hospital of Central CT in New Britain to be put on respirators. Due to the severity of COVID her lungs weren’t able to function on their own any longer which was an absolute devastation to her husband, son and the whole family. Shortly after Sylwia got to the hospital the doctors had to put her in an induced coma so her lungs could heal better and faster. They were so damaged and weakened from COVID that this was the only thing that could possibly save her life. As you could imagine, this was a very trying and traumatizing time for everyone involved. Sylwia fought for her life in THOCC for two long months! With everyone praying for her and hoping for a miracle she finally got better and was transferred to the Wallingford Gaylord Rehab Center, where she had yet another obstacle to undergo. She had to learn how to breathe on her own, how to speak, eat, walk, and gain back the strength she had lost while being in a coma for the past two months. It was extremely difficult as you could imagine. But that was not the end of the bad news. Sylwia once again fell ill and was rushed to Middletown hospital beginning of January of this year. She developed a severe bacteria in her lungs that unfortunately resulted in another intubation and another induced coma in order for her lungs to get stronger and heal faster because she was too weak to do so otherwise. She was in a coma for another two weeks and thankfully finally awoke on January 14th, 2022. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ and Mary Most Holy! We’re so relieved that she got better! All of the doctors and nurses are thrilled and telling us it’s a MIRACLE that she’s awake and doing a little bit better. But she’s still not out of the woods and the healing process is very long and very difficult.
All of this leads to our plea to you, generous souls, to donate any amount that you can to help Sylwia and her family on the road to recovery. If you find it in your heart to donate we would sincerely be grateful for any help.

God bless you all.
