A couple years back I raised funds for a Syrian family living in dire conditions in Lebanon. They were in need of money for medical assistance, food and household basics. Luckily they are now in England thanks to you donors and their strength and determination.

But relatives of that same family are in a similarly bleak situation still stuck in Lebanon.

They need urgently:

Back rent of 4 months paid by the end of April or they will be evicted with no place to go ($1000)

The grandmother needs a stomach tumor removed ($1000)

Very basic household items. They are sleeping without blankets on mattresses on the floor. They need a small refrigerator, oven, washing machine and simple furniture ($750)

Money for food for 2 months ($300)

Who is in the family?

Aisha: 51, the grandmother who needs stomach surgery to remove tumor, money will be sent to her

Muhammad: 24, Aisha’s son who has a mental illness and cannot work

Rania: 17, Aisha’s daughter who speaks English and wants to go to university and is very motivated to study but cannot

Hussein: 28, Aisha’s son who cannot work due to his illegal arrival into Lebanon

Razan: 19, married to Hussein and mother to Nizer

Nizer: 1, baby boy, Hussein and Razan’s son
